The last few months have brought many changes to our little family. It has been an adventure! I have never been particularly consistent with emailing, blogging or even phone calls (except to my sisters). But now my life is different and I hope I'll be better this time around. I now have two adorable little boys and I work as little as possible. It has been an interesting change for me.
I have always wanted to be a full-time-stay-at-home-mom but it has taken some time to get used to being home so much. I am so used to going all of the time and it is weird to realize I don't have to go anywhere all day long. It has been nice to catch up on laundry, sorting, filing and cleaning. I actually sorted my sock drawer on Saturday, not because I was bored, but because I have been meaning to do it for the last 13 months. I also boxed up all the maternity clothes. I really do enjoy being pregnant, but I really hate the clothing by the time the baby comes.
Ed has also had a hard time adjusting to the stay at home life style. For the first few weeks after his surgery he would ask me every morning if we were going to the garden shoppe. Eventually, at some point during each day, he would get sick of me and ask if we could go see Christopher, my co-worker. Ed has also been adjusting to having a brother in the house. I think he is actually doing quite well with it. He is always very concerned when Trumann cries. Ed does get tired of his little brother getting all the attention when it is bed time but other than that he has been great.
We are so glad to have Trumann here in our home. He is such a good baby. He eats, sleeps and cuddles. Little ones are so easy to love! When I was a kid I wondered how my parents could love all of their children, now know. It is so fun to see Trumann's little personality. He is so mellow and I definitely believe in love at first sight.
